Glacier Express Panorama Cars in H0 Standard Gauge

Bring the world-famous Glacier Express to your H0 layout with Bemo’s finely detailed panorama carriages. Operated by the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) in cooperation with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB), the Glacier Express is celebrated as one of the most spectacular train journeys in the world.

These Glacier Express cars are designed by BEMO for operation on both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) systems to run on model train layouts in HO scale. To achieve this, Bemo developed new standard-gauge bogies with NEM 362 coupler pockets, ensuring smooth running and easy compatibility with other rolling stock.

Ready for Upgrade

The bogies are factory-prepared for optional interior lighting. Pre-assembled wheel pickups are included—simply position them on the inner sides of the wheelsets if you choose to add lighting for DC cars. For AC operation, the pick-up shoe (Art. 6545 601) is required.

Glacier Express Anniversary Edition

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Glacier Express, first launched in 1930, the RhB and MGB introduced the GEX 2006 concept. Each railway put two six-car panorama sets into service, with additional sets added in the years that followed—continuing the tradition of luxury travel through the Swiss Alps.
